The first thing you should do before downloading and installing HSpace is to install the PennMUSH software. HSpace does not currently work with the other types of drivers, such as TinyMUSH or TinyMUX. We promise that it will in the near future, so just hang tight you non-PennMUSHers! The link to the PennMUSH web site is below. It'll instruct you on where to get the latest version of PennMUSH. Typically, HSpace works with the latest version of the MUSH driver, though sometimes we're just a tad behind.

The following links allow you to download the various components of the HSpace software package. The basic package comes in a single file, tarred and gzipped for UNIX platforms. Download this package, unpack it, and read the README_FIRST file to get installation instructions. The rest of the links on this page point you to useful items to help you administrate and get the most out of HSpace. You don't actually need them to run HSpace, though you'll probably find them to be time (and life) savers.

If you click on the link (listed under the Item heading), and you get a page full of text instead of a download file, try right-clicking the mouse and choosing "Save-as".

These files can also be found on ftp at the Moosh.net ftp mirror. Or by connecting to hspace.org via ftp and using 'hspace' as the login name and 'download' as the password.
